Amar Ibrahim Brand & Communications Designer
I’m Amar Ibrahim, a brand and communications designer with 11 years of experience helping organisations figure out what they actually stand for, and finding the most honest way to say it.
I think before I design. I ask the questions most designers skip. I stay until the work is right.
Over the past decade I’ve worked across public sector, fashion, editorial and tech. I co-founded Origin Creative, where I led brand strategy and design across multiple sectors, from high-end skincare to community campaigns.
I currently work with Watford Borough Council as a Brand and Communications Designer, where I shape how the council communicates with the people it serves. The work demands clarity, honesty and restraint. It has made me a sharper designer.
11 years in, I’ve learned that the best creative decisions happen before anyone opens a file.
I’ve never been interested in making things look good. I’m interested in making things mean something.
